What are Glampex Domes made of?<\/strong><\/summary>\n

We could dive into technical details that only an experienced engineer would understand \u2014 but I have a feeling you’re more curious about how durable and long-lasting they are.
In short: VERY.
The frame is made of powder-coated steel (or galvanized steel for an industrial look). The cover is a PVC membrane with double welding to protect it from sun damage over time. The insulation and curtains are made from flame-retardant polyester, with a 4\u20136 mm thick aluminum bubble wrap on the back of the insulation.
All fittings are galvanized or stainless steel.
Yes, they are legally considered tents \u2014 but that\u2019s just a classification.

      It can withstand winds up to 120 km\/h.

      That\u2019s a myth.
